The sporting clays courses continue to enjoy popularity among members and guests. In addition to four days/week of recreational shooting, we also offer some friendly NSCA events: Oh What Fun Clays Shoot, Dec. 17 Ring In The New Year Shoot, Jan. 20 St. Patrick's Day Shoot, March 17 Shooters of all skill levels are welcomed. Pre-squading is not required. Squads can be put together on the morning of the shoot. These shoots provide a nice opportunity to meet other sporting clays shooters. Bud Steil, our long-time Skeet Chairman, will retire from this position effective December 31. We would like to thank Bud for many years of so many well-run and fun Skeet tournaments! Bud brought together so many people in the local, state, regional, and national skeet arena to run a thriving and successful skeet operation for years. He was also responsible for JCTS hosting the 57th Annual Armed Forces Skeet Championship this past May.
