Beyond the Range: JCTS’s Impact on the Jacksonville Community

At Jacksonville Clay Target Sports (JCTS), we take immense pride in our role as more than just a premier shooting facility. As a nonprofit organization, our dedication to reinvesting in our members, guests, and the broader shooting sports community is at the core of our mission. This commitment shapes every aspect of our operations, from continuous upgrades to our courses to enhancing the quality of experiences we offer.

Our longstanding tradition of community engagement, dating back to our founding in 1936, has fostered strong connections with local residents through various events and fundraisers. We regularly host charity shoots that bring together shooters of all skill levels to support local causes such as veteran services, youth programs, and health initiatives. These events not only promote the sport of clay shooting but also make a significant impact on the community we serve.

In our ongoing efforts to improve and adapt, we've made exciting upgrades to our facilities while also focusing on youth development. Recent enhancements include adding new machines to our courses, allowing us to cater to shooters of all skill levels. Our youth programs are another cornerstone of our community involvement, dedicated to fostering a love for shooting sports in the next generation. These initiatives not only teach marksmanship but also instill valuable life skills such as discipline, patience, and responsibility.

As we approach our 90th anniversary, we continue to evolve and grow. Our facility now spans 159 acres, offering top-tier shooting experiences with trap, skeet, sporting clays, and five-stand courses. Every positive cash flow we generate goes directly back into improving our facilities and programs, ensuring that we can continue to provide exceptional experiences for years to come.

At JCTS, we believe that every visit, every event attended, and every guest brought contributes to our ability to make upgrades, introduce new programs, and enhance the overall experience for all shooters. We're grateful for the support of our community, and we remain committed to being a valuable asset to Jacksonville and the broader shooting sports world.
