See JU individual performances at this link. Since the inception of the JU Shooting Program nine years ago, collegiate competition has escalate to a highly competitive level. Approximately 800 student-athletes from almost 100 schools competed in the ACUI Championship. While JU secured the fifth place Division 2 Team HOA, the top four Division 2 teams recorded team HOA's as high as the top Division 1 teams. More results are available on the ACUI website.
In early March, Jacksonville University, SCTP, and JCTS hosted their seventh annual Southeastern Collegiate Invitational Spring Championship with 139 Collegiate athletes from eleven universities attending, thus continuing as one of the largest collegiate regional shoots in the country. Bethel University took HOA Team honors in Saturday’s Main Event, with Emmanuel College on their heels as RU Champion, followed by Clemson and JU. Rounding out the field were: Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Stetson University, Eastern Kentucky University, FSU, Georgia College, UNF and FSCJ in their first ever tournament. On Sunday, Clemson University also took HOA honors in Sporting Clays, followed by Emmanuel College, Bethel and JU in close numbers.
Congratulations to these hardworking student-athletes! We wish you the best for the remainder of your season and your semester!
